Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Colombo - Kandy

  • As you arrive at the airport, you will be picked up by our local representative upon your arrival and transferred to Kandy.
  • Enjoy the scenic 4 hours drive from Colombo to Kandy. 
  • En route to Kandy visit the Pinnwala Elephant Orphanage which is approx. 55 miles away from Colombo on the Colombo-Kandy Road.
  • Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage is not a zoo, but something bigger and more interesting. It is a breeding ground for Asian elephants who are left abandoned due to unforeseeable circumstances.
  • Reconnect with nature and wildlife as you witness the way elephants are treated and cared for, the elephants being fed milk, their bathing routine, and their interaction with each other.
  • Upon reaching your hotel in Kandy, relish the hospitable treatment you receive and complete your check-in formalities before proceeding to your room.
  • In the evening, catch a panoramic view of the picturesque town from upper lake drive.
  • Visit a Kandyan Dance performance and be treated to a spectacular fire walking finale.
  • Return back to your hotel, enjoy dinner and overnight stay in Kandy.

Day 2Excursion to Sigiriya

  • Wake up in the morning, enjoy a hearty breakfast and get ready for an adventurous day ahead.
  • Head out towards the Sigiriya Rock Fortress to admire the captivating beauty and magnificence of this ancient site.
  • Upon arrival at the Sigiriya Rock Fortress, climb those rocky steps and narrow metal staircases in the blazing sun.
  • Once you reach the top, witness the breathtaking 360-degree views of the surrounding hills, forests, pastures, lakes, and monuments of Sigiriya from a birds-ey angle and realize that your efforts of climbing were totally worth it.
  • Spend some time at this massive Sigiriya Rock deep in the middle of Sri Lanka that juts out from the green tropical forest.
  • Climb downwards and head back to your hotel in Kandy collecting beautiful memories from the top of Sigiriya.
  • Enjoy a mouth-watering dinner and an overnight stay in Kandy

Day 3 Kandy - Nuwara Eliya

  • Wake up in the morning, have your healthy breakfast and check out from the hotel and proceed to Nuwara Eliya.
  • Before proceeding to the Nuwara Eliya route to the Bahiravokanda Vihara Buddha Statue is the biggest Buddha statue in Sri Lanka nestled within the hilltops above Kandy and offers a panoramic view of the city.
  • Further proceed to the beautiful golden-roofed Buddhist Temple in the heart of Kandy, where you can see the legendary tooth relic of Buddha which is enclosed inside several golden boxes, covered in jewels.
  • Later you can stroll around Kandy Lake which is also known as the “Sea of Milk” and relax in the midst of nature.
  • Head to The Royal Botanical Gardens, where you can witness more than 5,000 species of trees, plants, and creepers, the Spice Garden and Orchid House are popular with tourists.
  • After exploring Kandy you can proceed to Nuwara Eliya and enjoy the scenic landscapes on the way.
  • As you reach your hotel in Nuwara Eliya, complete the formalities and relax for a while.
  • In the evening, you can visit Gregory Lake and enjoy the happy vibe.
  • Explore the Bale Bazaar, popularly known as the winter market you can buy winter products as a souvenir.
  • Return to your hotel and enjoy your delicious dinner.
  • Overnight stay at Nuwara Eliya.

Day 4Nuwara Eliya - Bentota

  • Wake up in the hills covered with the green carpet and enjoy yourself after enjoying a lavish breakfast and check out from your hotel and proceed to Bentota.
  • En route, to Royal Botanical Garden renowned for its collection of a variety of orchids. It includes more than 300 varieties of orchids, spices, medicinal plants, and palm trees.
  • Visit the Hanuman Temple, it is believed that this was the first place in Sri Lanka where Hanuman landed before starting the quest to look for Goddess Sita.
  • Later proceed to Ramboda Falls which is known for scenic landscapes comprising highlands, ridges, plains, streams, and hilly mountains.
  • Stopover at Seetha Amman Kovil, a temple dedicated to Goddess Sita, is believed the place where Goddess Sita was kept after she had been captured by the demon king Ravana of Lanka.
  • Proceed towards Hakgala Botanical Gardens which is home to a variety of wildlife, including bears, monkeys, and birds.
  • Once done exploring Nuwara Eliya you can proceed with your journey to Bentota.
  • Get warm hospitality as you arrive at your hotel in Bentota complete your check-in formalities and rest for some time.
  • You can spend leisure time by the beach at Bentota and enjoy a good time by snapping memories by the beach.
  • After spending some leisure time come back to the hotel and enjoy your delicious dinner.
  • Overnight stay at Bentota.

Day 5Excursion to Mirissa

  • Wake up in the morning to the sound of the waves of the sea and breathe in the fresh air.
  • After enjoying a lavish breakfast at your hotel in Bentota, proceed to Mirissa.
  • En route, visit the Galle fort which consists of the National Maritime Museum, Dutch Reformed Church, The Galle Lighthouse, and Meera Mosque.
  • Once you are done exploring the Galle Fort you can proceed to Mirissa.
  • As you reach the Mirissa beach you can spot the Parrot rock a huge red-colored mound that towers over the water.
  • You can also visit Coconut Tree Hill which is one of the most Instagrammable spots.
  • You can also join the whale watching tour at an additional cost available at the beach itself.
  • Go through the day enjoy in the precious stone blue water, swim among mind-blowing marine life, and enjoy each snapshot of this window into paradise.
  • After having a day filled with sandy toes and salty hair return back to Bentota in the evening for an overnight stay.

Day 6Bentota - Colombo

  • Wake up in the morning and get ready to explore the capital of Sri Lanka, Colombo.
  • After taking a piping hot breakfast at your hotel in Bentota, check out and head to Colombo.
  • Once you reach Colombo, check in to your hotel and complete the formalities and freshen up.
  • Get ready to explore Colombo City at first wander through the Colombo Fort, you can take a walk from Colombo Fort to Beira Lake and visit the popular Lovers Island and the beautiful suspension bridge
  • Get mesmerized by the architectural wonder that will take your breath away with its unusual color patterns. 
  • While on your way to World Trade Building and Parliament building you can spot the floating market Pettah.
  • Wander around the tallest tower in South Asia “The Lotus Tower” you can stroll around explore the restaurants and can enjoy a shopping spree.
  • Seek blessings at Gangaramaya Buddhist temple in Colombo it is a mix of modern architecture and cultural essence.
  • Later you can visit the Colombo National Museum which consists of collections related to Sri Lanka and also visit Independence Square where you can witness the history of Sri Lanka.
  • After exploring Colombo city, return back to your hotel have your delicious dinner, and call it a day.

Day 7 Trip ends with plethora of memories
